There are times when a custom oil painting of a special person, pet or place that you love, is the perfect gift for someone, or a treat for yourself to keep and treasure.
You can commission a painting by me to your exact size requirements, within budget, and to time. All I need are your own photographs to work from.
Firstly, show me favourite photos of your loved-ones, landscapes, family, and even your house, for me to assess. There is no charge, nor obligation to buy. Simply email me
attaching your images. I'll study them, then get back to you with advice and composition suggestions. We will discuss every aspect of your painting before you place your commission.
Let me know as soon as possible if you need the painting by a specific date, and I will do all I can to meet your deadline. (If I know my work load would prevent me meeting your deadline, I will always inform you before accepting a commission).
Contact is on-going during the painting process. You will find work-in-progress images arriving regularly, so you are always aware how your commission is developing, and can offer comments/feedback. This is how your painting becomes a personal collaboration between us. It will only be shipped to you after it has received your full approval.
I use artist quality oil paints, which takes time to dry after a painting is completed, before it's safe to ship. If your deadline means you need your painting quicker than this drying time allows, I may recommend acrylic paint at the start, which dries almost immediately. Both types of paint are fabulous!
I work on high quality primed stretched canvases. The painting will continue on the sides of the canvas, to complement or be part of the composition. Your painting can therefore be displayed with or without frame as you wish. It will be signed BEE on the front, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by, myself Bee Skelton.
I accept Paypal and use UPS to ship my work to you in the country where you live, tracked and signed for.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed, because in the very unlikely event that you are not completely thrilled with my work (so far all my clients have been delighted) I will keep the painting to add to my portfolio, and happily give you a full refund.
You are welcome to contact me with any questions.
